An American Company. Dogs Raised Through Slovak Winters.
Protection Dogs for Sale in Colorado
If you are in Colorado, the first question is usually how a dog trained in Europe reaches a home this far inland. Slovak Protection Dogs USA is an American company with its own training center in Slovakia, and every dog we place is a trained adult, selected there in person and delivered to your door in Colorado.

Do We Deliver to Colorado?
We place dogs across the United States, and Colorado is no different from any other state: we select your dog and complete his training at our center in Slovakia, then fly him to you once he is ready and his paperwork is cleared.
Distance is the first question to answer when the dog is trained on another continent, and we confirm your route and timing before anything is agreed. A master trainer from our team flies with your dog from Slovakia to your home, and stays to settle him into your routine and coach the adults who will handle him. Whether your home is in Denver, in Colorado Springs, or well outside either of them, we arrange the air and ground transport, and the handover happens at your home rather than at an airport counter.
Our locations page explains how delivery works across the country.

Families Who Live With These Dogs
The families below are our clients, and their full reviews are on our reviews page, in their own words. Two of the three live in the United States.
Living With a Protection Dog on a Colorado Property
Every dog we place is a German Shepherd. Cold is not new to a dog who was raised through Slovak winters.
Altitude is the one thing that is genuinely different here, and a dog arriving in Denver, Colorado Springs or anywhere higher needs the same patience a person does: short work for the first few days, and nothing demanding until he has settled. Your own veterinarian is the one to tell you how quickly your dog can go back to full work.
On a property where the nearest neighbor is out of sight, what a burglar checks first is whether anyone is home, and a dog in the house answers that question before anyone reaches the door. That is not our claim but the finding of a Department of Justice guide on residential burglary: "A dog's presence is a close substitute for human occupancy, and most burglars avoid houses with dogs."
A dog does not lower crime by himself, and we will not say he does.
The Day Your Dog Arrives
Your dog's trainer does not hand him over at the door and leave: the in-home handler training included with every dog begins in the rooms where he will live.
What arrives at your door is a finished dog, not a project. That means complete obedience on and off leash, settled house manners, and protection work tested against real behavior rather than a rehearsed routine on a sport field.
We allow a full month for settling in, and Peter is reachable through all of it.
