If you are looking for a protection dog near you, you are probably asking two things at once: whether we deliver to your part of the country, and how a dog trained in Europe actually reaches your home. Slovak Protection Dogs USA is an American company with its own training center in Slovakia, and every dog we place is a trained adult, selected there in person and delivered to your home. Where We Place Dogs
We place dogs across the United States. Our footer lists popular locations in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, New York and South Carolina. That list is a record of the places we serve, not a limit on where we go, so if your state is not on it, ask us directly rather than assume the answer.
Every dog we place is a German Shepherd. What changes with your location is the route and the timing, not the dog or the training he arrives with. The dog is selected, trained and flown to you wherever you live.
From Slovakia to Your Door
We place dogs across the United States.
The dogs we place are adults, and that matters for the paperwork. Since August 2024, a dog entering the United States must be at least six months old, must be microchipped, and must travel with confirmation that the CDC Dog Import Form has been submitted. Our dogs spend the six months before the flight in Europe, in countries the CDC does not list as high-risk for rabies, so apart from that form, the CDC does not require a rabies certificate and does not require an arrival reservation.
Every dog travels with an FCI-recognized pedigree, full veterinary and travel certificates, and the CDC import paperwork in order before he boards. Every dog undergoes health and genetic screening before travel, arrives with up to two years of coverage for congenital defects, and is backed by our 90-day guarantee and lifetime support.
A master trainer from our team flies with your dog from Slovakia to your home, and stays to settle him into your routine and coach the adults who will handle him.
What arrives at your door is a finished dog, not a project. That means complete obedience on and off leash, settled house manners, and protection work tested against real behavior rather than a rehearsed routine on a sport field.
When the training center is on another continent, it is a fair question where your money goes before the dog ever leaves Slovakia. You pay an American company, by transfer to an American bank account.
